U-Connect?

Doe the mythical U-Connect factory option exist yet? Despite advertisements by DC for almost two years now, I couldn't get it in my 04. 5. The Mopar accessory package offers an aftermarket option, but the external keypad/speaker looks like crapola compared to the slick built-in mirror job that's on Dc's site and in all the brochures.

It does exist... but it is only showing up in minivans and durangos. Havn't seen it in a truck yet.

I really wanted that option... like a lot of states, Jersey is outlawing handheld cellphones within the next month or so. When I ordered my truck in December, the dealer computer wouldn't even accept the option code... it still doesn't. Meanwhile, DC is still advertising the thing as a factory option. Calls to DC have been fruitless. They (i. e. , Customer Service) don't know why it's not avalable. The feature built-in to the mirror is way cooler than the crappy remote box you get with the Mopar aftermarket kit. This will be one of those things like the rear seat fold-flat cargo floor: cheap to buy when you order, ridiculously expensive to add (if not impossible) afterwards.

I ordered a 300 C with it on May 10th . Shouldn't be long before it is available on the trucks.
