how hard are each of these to do yourself???i want to repack my bearings in the front as well as replace my U joints in the front... is this possible to do or do you need special tools... if this isnt possible to do yourself... what is it going to run me taking it to a shop?

Not too bad

MWD,

The job is not too hard to do. The main thing it takes is time to clean everything up. Air tools are helpful, but not neccessary. You will need a front wheel nut socket (someone please help with the #). Other than that general hand tools and a vise are all that is needed. My first time doing all of this took the better part of a day. But after that it now goes much faster. I would say go for it.
