Jeff: How many miles on your 95? I complained to the dealer many times about a clunk in the front end when my truck had 10,000 miles on it. They agreed it wasn't right but couldn't find the problem. After the truck was out of warranty (about 40,000), and on a trip to Alaska, the truck became almost un-drivable. I stopped at the Dodge dealer in Smithers, BC and it took them all of 5 minutes to discover the axel u-joints and the rear drive shaft u-joint were bad. All the joints looked like they never had a speck of grease in them!
After getting home I submitted my bills and documentation about the on going problem and repair to DC. I was told that since the problem could of been fixed under warranty, I was out of luck! I replied that yes, they could of fixed the u-joints, but the Dodge mechanics couldn't find the problem. Dodge replied that if they had found the problem, they would of fixed it under warranty. Get the picture? They finally wore me down and I got zip!
BTW: The Dodge dealer in Smithers, British Columbia is the only dealer I've used where I felt like they cared about customers.
Wish I had known about the TDR back in 1995!
