I have a slight vibration at around 38 - 42 mph, and again at about 60 - 65 mph. Doesn't really feel like an out of balance wheel, rather than the steering wheel shaking or the seat of my pants shaking, the whole truck seems to shake. Do you think this could be the U-Joints? I have 120,000+ miles on it, and haven't touched them. I called NAPA and they said they showed 2, but there's 3 in the drive shaft. Anyone know if the middle one is the same as the front or rear?

Thanks.

Randy

Crawl under your truck and give the driveshaft the shake test. Grab hold of your driveshaft and try to move or shake it. Check for play or slack at the u-joints and the carrier bearing, also look for movement in the yoke at the trans. All three u-joints should be the same.

what abledog said except, block the wheels, put the truck in nutrual, so that there's no pressure on the driveshaft, then check fer play.
