I would check wiring, but be prepared for parts possibly needing replacement. How many hours combined on the truck? How many miles? What series truck? 2500/3500? You could be at the start of a turbo actuator. Keep a watch on boost and EB levels. If they start to lower on drives that they were higher, points to a turbo issue. Are you hearing the turbo vanes going through there self check upon start up? Another clue pointing to turbo issue. If the vanes are stuck, you'll need whole turbo. The factory actuator will fail at pretty much any time frame. But the closer to 4K hours, the more likely hood that it's going south! I did mine a few seasons back. Replaced with the City Diesel unit from Genos. Great unit! Install is really straight forward. Requires a full coolant drain. Might be time for hoses if needed with the drain. That's what I did while in there. No calibration is needed with City unit, just plug and play! We're here to help you through this. Provide info as it becomes available. Good luck.
