UConnect 8.4 Nav Wont Turn off when door opens and stays on

Anyone have this problem. I just went in and reset all settings but it is odd that my radio and dash would not go off after exiting the vehicle. I dont think I turned anything on that might cause it to behave this way. Any thoughts?

I believe you can set how long some of the powered features stays active after the vehicle is turned off. The radio eventually turns off right??

It must not be seeing the door open. Regardless of how long the key off accessory time is, it should always shut off when you exit the vehicle. Try opening the passenger door and see if it shuts off. Also if you have a key/fob that inserts into the ignition switch, see if the key in buzzer works when key is in, ignition is off and door is open.

I had to restore to Fac defaults then it worked. Lost all my fav artists, settings, etc so a pain but the alternative was to disconnect bat in the snow

If your connected to your phone and using the audio feed from it, it won't shut down until the feed is shut down. This also is the case if your in a phone conversation, hang up the phone and it all shuts down.

My 2015 3500 was notorious for not shutting off either. The dealer never could sort it out and the only way I could shut it off was battery disconnect.
