Uconnect phone connection installed after in my 2007 5.9 dodge?

Hi. I just bought a 2007 dodge 5.9 H.O. Mega Cab and would like some sort of Uconnect installed for my iphone. I have the six disk MP3 radio but it doesn't have phone buttons. Do I need to also buy a new(to my truck) MOPAR radio to install something or is there a great aftermarket DVD player/phone connector you recommend? Is there a Bluetooth kit that doesn't use my radio? My 05 Jeep has the u-connect built into the mirror... and I don't have a clue where the rest of the electronics are located to tie them into the rest of the system... I do know that module died under warranty.... the factory paid warranty bill to replace the kit was close to $800... but we've tried other systems in our car, and truck.... and the u-connect works better than anything I've seen or tried.. I've heard that on-star has a kit for other than GM cars.... but have not seen the facts on that....

had a 08 with a dealer added U connect it worked throu radio and did a good job
