Of course Gremlins and Pacers pop into mind first, then what?



Some current crapazoid looking cars are: Avalanchie, and that other GM thing -Azztec or something. Toyota has one with the Echo, (as well as a great (not) name).



What else is/was butt-ugly and/or has a stupid name?



GM got a double with the Avvylunch-- UGLY-transformer toy- named after a natural disaster.



The Pinto should have been called the Shetland Pony (no offense to the SP lovers).



I like the ###xxx model designations popular in Europe. No one ever said "492Tx what a STOOPID name for a car", cause it really can't be stupid.

Oh, but there was the "XR4ti" (too many letters, not enough numbers)



Good numbers: 911, 930, 928, 735, 740, 750 just to name a few.

That stupid thing that Suzuki or some company makes called the

Grand Viagra . OOOPPs I think it is the Grand Vitara Oo.

There are some really ugly looking vehicles coming out not to mention REALLY stupid dumb corny names for them.

Why do you think the auto companies want you to make (only) an emotional purchase? Could it be there is little substance?



How about that Mitsubishi commercial where the girl is break dancing in the passenger seat? (Eclipse?) Is that supposed to get me to buy the car. Thats the whole commercial!

Don't get me started, but isn't it funny how there's a "Special Limited Time Offer", "Blowout", "Inventory Reduction", or "Tradin' Crazy" event and "Now is the Time To Buy" 365 days per year.



Car ads, like many other things, are selling image. How else could they be so overpriced --which is why they lose 60% of value in 4 years--and people finance that opportunity!

Honda Hybrid- looks like a high-tech rolling turd- Buick Rendezvous is an attempt to polish a turd after the Aztec but the stink shines through.

There are other ugly ducklings- But nothing beats the AZTEC as the most ugly vehicle made. I have seen them around- which proove the adage. If GM put wheels on a washtub, there are a million idiots lining up to buy it. Don't remember the source- probably misquoted. One look at an AZTEC and you can see the upside down washtub in the design.
