The 12 cm wastegated turbo's got a BIG intake, much bigger than the hose from the air cleaner on my '89. Any suggestions on what to use to connect the air can to the turbo?

John, Just saw a very modified 93 yesterday with a 12cm housing The guy used a large dia. hose from a farm & ranch supply house up here in Slocala. Used for farm irragation. Just a thought. Did the intercooler work for you or you still modifing the Feard one? Regards, Mike

Sold the poerstroke cooler on e-bay. It was just WAY too big in every dimension! I'm finally finishing up the bathroom, and regardless of what my wife puts on the honeydo list, the truck is next on MY list! I did finish separating the inner from outer fenders, punching the louvers, and welding the fenders back together (Sure wish I could rememberwhere I put that spot welder!). Gives the truck a REALLY mean look. Also found aftermarket grille with no indentations for the Dodge letters. Sure would like to find Cummins badging for fenders to replace RAM badging. Also gonna do a louvered panel for the tailgate.

Could just the 12 cm2 turbine housing be switched on the turbos? I know the 21,18. 5,16 and 14 cm2 (Banks) will all interchange.

I suppose so; but it sure looks like that huge intake would make for better airflow. Besides all the parts on the 12cm turbo are about 150,000 miles newer than on my 18. 5.
