The new vp44 isnt running up to snuff. At high speeds it misses a bit. Its been intermittent. Then it started running bad. When I got off the freeway It sat and ran real rough like it was gonna stall then slowly cleared up. Fuel pressure is great. Running 8oz of stanadyne with every tank. I think this baby might be bad out of the box. Ive run about 1500 miles on this pump. Thank god its got a warranty. I have not pierced the pump wire. I was waiting for a few weeks to make sure the pump was good. I cant afford another 2 grand right now.
