Ultimate Towing Combo

I no that this topic has probably been discussed but, I was wondering what I need for the ultimate towing rig? No money for twins though. So, a bigger single screw, box, injectors, ect... . What is a realistic approach to towing about 12k behind my truck better. When I say better I mean more power! My truck is just slow off the line. I want to get this load moving faster without turning my engine compartment into a convection oven! I am currently running an edge ez, drop-in Afe and a T. A. G. 4. 11 gears and 255x70x22. 5's. I tow about 20k a year and drive another 40k. Help please!

Well... . a meduim duty rig certainly wont get it moving any faster if that is the goal. Sure sounds like what you need though.



I've never seen a light duty truck on 22. 5's how did you pull that one off?
