A buddy of mine sent me those pics a few months ago. There are some more, one of which shows the back of his foot with the bones and tendon exposed. I think his foot was messed up when he was trying to shoot the Bear while it was attacking him, ie. he shot himself in the process. Doesn't look like much fun to me.
