how to remove this van window w/o breaking it!

wheel and tire designers have gone to a new low...

i crashed on my mtn bike yesterday morning b4 church, and called 911 for a ride to the hospital. i was riding at a bike trail in tucson at harrison and irvington called fantasy island, and crashed at the bottom of a wash when i hit some loose sand. broken left shoulder, a nice gash on my left arm, and a re-injured right shoulder, also a few minor scrapes in my legs. the front wheel looks like a potato chip . a couple of other cyclists helped me get out and take care of the bike. went back last night to retrieve the truck. wife drove it for the first time. it may be a while before i can drive it again (6 speed. , don't ya know).

i will need to decide if i will continue mountain biking. getting too old for this s@#t.

At 49 you don't bounce any more. Your body just goes splat and lays there hurting. :{ Need to be a little more careful or we are going to have get you a walker or better yet one of those motorized thingies that the really old folks use, a rascal. :D :D

Hope you heal up well and have no complications. Been there and done that.

WD:D

I never mountain biked, but BMX was popular way back in the day.

I used to get more injury from that than whan I rode the motorcycle in motocross races. :D

Hope all gets mended soon Ken.

saw the dr this moring. he says it's serious, and i may not be able to bicycle again, mtn or road. he wants a ct scan, and then surgery. i still feel fortunate, could have been worse. god is good.

I feel your pain klenger, never wrecked to bad on my mtn bike, however my mx bike is another story. I was trail ridin' 350 miles from home, smacked a tree, wrenched my shoulder real good (the right shoulder), and had to drive the bike 10 miles outta the woods, then load it, and drive back home, ditto on the 6-speed. A month and a half later, I was as good as before the wreck.

BTW, I have a '99 CR 250 (with new bars:rolleyes: ) for sale. :D Make offer.....

Later, Rob

Anymore

I just have to realize how old I am and not go places I used to go. Take the left and not the right. It smarts pretty bad, but it doesen't hurt near as bad. Heal well.....
