Underbody toolbox mounting?

I have a new 3500 gmc dump. I want to put a 48" underbody toolbox on her, but need some type of bracket that would space me off the frame. I think I would like it to be flush with the dump bed. This would get me past a frame support and accomodate the 48" box else I would only have room for a 36" unit. Does anyone know a source for a bracket such as this?

2" angle iron welded into a L shape with a 2x1/4 flat stock welded across at a 45 degree angle should do what you need very well.



That is the common way to mount side boxes.



I live in Peru. Scrounge some metal up. I can fab it together real easy.
