I was looking to get a Undercover bed cover for my truck. I didn't like the texture of the top. Looked like it would be harder to clean. So I went with the Snug Top Lid a hard fiberglass cover which is carpeted underside.

I have not seen one but they say it is the same texture as the plastic on the side mirrors. Those clean pretty easy. I like that it is claimed to weigh only 60lbs and can be stood on too. I am just looking for any real world experiences.

Undercover cover

I have had two of them, one on my 05' Hemi 1500 and one on my 05' CTD. I have tried all of the different types, roll-ups, folding, fiberglass etc. and none compare in quality, strength, durability, price, ease of operation. They are light 58 lbs. , lockable, 20 minutes to install, 5 minutes to take off. Very easy to clean, shinney black texture that doesn't dull, you can stand on it!!!. Can't say enough. Oo. Oo.

I have had one since January of '04. Have had many compliments on appearance. It is easy to clean and you can stand on it if needed. Well worth the money IMO.

Anyone using a Undercover bed cover? They seem pretty nice, and for around $600. 00 delivered not to bad a price. I am a little concerned about creating a oven in my bed here in the Arizona Desert in the summertime.

i've got one on my 03 ctd, lived with it in texas, washington state, and now in atlanta area. no problems. have not cooked anything and everything stays dry. no complaints

I have had my Undercover lid for round 6 months. I am very happy with it. I had SnugLid XL when the new single lock model came out, but they could not keep it from leaking around the lock. I had older two lock SnugLid XL on previous Dodge without any problems and was happy with it.

The Undercover is not a problem cleaning. I do use 303 Aerospace protectant on all non metal surfaces and this works wonders. Keeps everything looking new without oily surface.

The Undercover lid is not as pretty as the SnugLid was, but it is much more funtional for me. It does not look bad at all, just not show quality look. I can remove the lid by myself without any problems, that was not possible with hard fiberglass covers. This is a big plus for me.

Thanks for the posts and pics. I think I am going to get one. By the way, does anyone know how they fit with the factory Dodge bed liner?
