Underhood light hook up...

... anyone know if there is a underhood light hook up located under the hood of an early '03, just recieved a light and bracket, but for the life of me I can not find a plug for it under the hood !!!

Conector location

Mine was built 4/25/03. The connector is located above the brake booster on the fire wall. If memory serves its kind of in the plastic coverd wiring harness that runs along the fire wall upper edge. Ken Irwin

The light group option (and hence, the connector) became available sometime mid-year for the '03s. Mine is an early one and does not have it.

Underhood light

I bought a "painless Wiring" block from Geno's and used it to connect my gauges, CB, and underhood light. That way it's all independant of the truck system. My truck is an 03 built in Jan. 03. Larry
