Underhood Stickers

I'm not one to put stickers on the out side or on the windows. But I've seen a few trucks with them under the hood.



Has anyone had any serious heat melt or discolor and then damage the motor if a sticker fell off?

What kind of stickers are you talking about? Like CraneCams or ATSDIESEL stickers that show what parts you have or Baby On Board stickers? Gold Stars? No Step? Warning?

Autometer, AFE, fluidamper, edge, TDR, think I have an SBC one to start.

I've got a few that have lasted quite awhile now and still look new... Then again my truck is only 2years old. . :-laf

I have labels on things in my engine bay and a label for filter#s and belt #s. Last thing you'll remember is your serpentine belt number if you lose it on the road.
Also, a large CAUTION FAN label near the fan shroud, because for some reason there is none.

I have stickers and a Cummins Power badge under my hood and they have been there for about 4 years and even with oil getting on them they still look good



There is even a Cummins "C" Badge on the front valve cover and that has never come off

To be absolutely specific of where I plan on putting these. Under the bottom side of the hood on the felt material.

I know there are factory stickers that naturally will last but these stickers were ment for a bumper or window or something.

I thought about pulling the felt material off but half way though I didn't look as clean. .

so, I started with my fluidamper sticker on the felt. I got 2 sheets of stickers so it's a good test. Took the big one and planted it right in the middle. Once it's filled up with stickers it'll look slick when you pop the hood.

I'm just curious how well it will "hold" to the felt.

As far as my stickers, I seem to not beable to find any. I have a few at work on my cube wall, but I think I'd like to keep them there. I suppose I'll make some call Monday and buy a few extra's.
