uneven tire wear

My 97 has developed a bad habit. The outer inch or so on the passnger side front tire wears out noticeably fast.
The driver side is fine.
Tires are at 55psi, and it has not been in an accident. I checked the manual, there is no adjustment for camber. There is an adjustment for caster though. Could the problem be that caster is wrong on one side? It did get an alignment about 25k ago.

My '96 does the exact same thing. Reg. tire rotation evens it out, but the next time I go in for tires I plan to have them check the alignment. If anyone out there has add'l info or advice, would appreciate it.
