1st Class show on CMT - that is a must see....

A Dodge -non diesel- truck question

This is why I don't have much faith in my fellow man, woman, neighbors, police dept, child welfare officers, judges, juries, and the laws that protect the rights of criminals.

That's unthinkable.

But it is does tell you something about their justice system if a mere 25 years was the MAXIMUM sentence that could have been applied.

Perhaps it's for the best. If he's released early as possible, the memory of what happened will be fresh enough that the citizens will be properly motivated to apply the justice their system lacks...

Boy, would I like an hour with this tough guy. Make him feel like a baby. Pound the bugger until he can't move then crush his extremities one at a time very slowly. He does not deserve to die, he deserves a slow agonizing retribution for his act.

If Australian prisons are anything like American ones, child killers are usually taken care of if they are released into the general population.

You have a lot softer heart than I do, BGroom

I was thinking more like 6mo in the desert. START by breaking all his toes, ripping out his teeth, beat him about the stomach and chest with a 16# sledge. Then let him heal a little, then start some real torture (So I've read a few western novels that involved Apaches, so what?). TIe him to a cactus with wet rawhide, leave him there a week. stake him out face down on a fire ant hill. PUllout his guts about 3ft, and let the coyotes get him; chase them off, let them return tomorrow night. (Ok, that one came from "Lonesome Dove") An hour is not nearly long enough. Make him WANT to go back to prison.

BUt after only 8 years, the memory will stil be fresh enough in the memories of the family of the kid for stuff to work out right in the end. ;) Sounds like that one guy has the capability to do it. (the one who called him a "scumbag") THat is, IF he survives prison. My uncle used to be a guard here in the States, and people who were child molestors, abusers, etc, didnt last too long. They often fell down a flight of stairs, slipped and hit their heads in the shower, "accidently" drowned somewhere.

BUt, the penalty for taking up the slack of the "justice system" is probably more severe than for the original offenders.

Daniel

That SOB doesn't deserve to live, they should buy him a ticket to Texas and let us take care of him. Scumbag doesn't begin to describe a creature that low and foul.

God have mercy on the soul of that poor infant boy...

Steve M I cant agree with you more, you hit the nail on the head and then some.

Sorry if I offend anybody or came over a little strong but conceder the circumstances.

It's pure BS. But I wouldn't be surprised to see it in this country, the way our scumbag lawyers and prosecutors plea bargain cases away. #@$%!

No problem.

Just put the perp in with the general population at most prisons and be sure the rest of the inmates know what this guy has done.

Unless it a baseless case brought by a campaign supporter of the prosecutor, then the defendant's life gets turned upside down. But that is for another thread, another day. The Aussies aint the only ones with a messed up "justice" system. Unfortunately, he with the deepest pockets wins.
