unhook battery for upgrades?

I was wondering if i should unhook the battery after installing an afe stage II

intake and a new straight through muffler? do i need to reset the ecm/comp or will it adjust to the higher airflow on its own? or am i thinking to hard.

You're thinking too hard.

Unhooking the battery wont reset or calibrate anything and you dont need to adjust anything for better intake flow anyway.
