Bad day...

I was just wondering how many people here have read the book.

I picked it up a little while ago. When I finished reading it, I immediately gave it away and purchased a second copy and have read it a second time.

The book incorporates some US history in it. I'll say that I've learned a bit from it. This was the first time I've run across a refrence to the Bonus Marchers . :( It seems that my government sponsered education seems to have overlooked this little tidbit of US history.

IMHO, this book should be read by anyone who may consider themselves patriots.

A MUST READ!!!

I've read it. Bought my Dad one too. Just about everyone in my family has read it, and who hasnt has gotten a full report from me. :D

Kind of makes you think of the power of one smart determined person has.

Many things can be learned from this book. McArthur ordering US troops to fire upon the WW1 Vets, etc. Lots of unpublished (censored?) history.

I have heard of ATF threatening gun shop owners that sold the book and I believe it!!

As a matter of fact, I just finished reading that this past week. I thought it was ok, but could have been better.

I'm suprised that only a few people here have read the book. I would have thought that with the views of the people here, it would have been more popular that this thread leads me to believe.

Super book

Read the book about a year ago it was a very good history lesson as well as a good story. My views of McArther and Patton been diminished due to the details of the Bonus Marchers.

In the "if you liked this book, you'll like" category take a look at

Good advice from Fred when the you-know-what-hits-the-fan.
