I have been looking for a programmer for my truck that does not marry itself to my truck. I notice a lot of these will only work on the first truck that you plug it into and then not work on any other truck. Idealy, I would like to find a program and cable that I could connect to my laptop and reprogram the chip as well as plug into the same port on my brother in-laws truck and do the same thing. However, anything that is universal would make me happy.
