Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Unknown turbo, Juice and some EGT's to spare

I recently installed my juice with attitude on my 99. Runs like a champ. Problem is I've got an unidentified turbo. Dataplate says it's a WH1C (first gen turbo). I've read that some have used the WH1C's as a platform to build an HX-40. I know it's not a full blown 40 b/c I still have the stock downpipe.



So here's the deal. With a stock 3. 5" straightpiped exhaust, pump wire tapped, WOT, the edge on 5x5, and the edge supplied boost elbow my readings are this:

EGT: <1000*

Boost: 28psi

fuel press: 12psi



To me that says this is NOT a stock WH1C. This also says I have room for more fuel. I'm thinking injectors. Maybe ~100horse sticks?
