Archived Unleaded Gas In Tank, Help!

A friend had 35 miles left to go in fuel in tank, and put 4 gallons of unleaded gas in his tank,... ..... Drain it or can you dilute it by filling it up the rest of the way. Please reply asap, sitting at the pump!

Put in at least twice the recommended dosage of whatever fuel additive is available to raise the lubricity and fill it up until you literally can't fit another drop in the tank. You should be ok after that.

I'll back up mberry on that. Of course it's not good to have gasoline in your fuel, it will be OK if you fill with Diesel and if you don't have additive on hand, drop in a few ounces of 2 stroke oil. It's always less than ideal to have gas in your diesel, but the truck will be just fine.

Tell him to never mention a word to the dealer about it if he still has a warranty. They will void it on the spot.
