Up-Front Protection

Does anyone with a First Gen. have an Aliarc Guard on their truck? I presently have a homebuilt front guard on my 89. However as my truck gets older I am getting nervous about the availability of sheet metal in the event of a collision with an animal. I have ordered an Aliarc guard for my truck, however must wait 9-10 weeks for it as they don't have any made up for the old trucks and must dig up the old template. Anyway what I wanted to know is if anyone has had experience with one of these and how satisfied they are with it. Thanks, John.

I didnt care too much for the look of those. I like the look of the other companies offer out there. Can't remember their names, Ute bar maybe. ? Bill

I have a 2nd gen. 002 with an Ali- arc real nice removed orig. stock bumper etc. Ali-arc bolted right up an it does not weigh 300lbs satisfied looks good.

I've only seen one (positive ID on that one) bumper from Aliarc. It was on a KW 900L though. Looks like it would work OK. Wasn't to impressed with the look though. I think it may be an older one though. It looks different than the new ones on their site.

I'm looking for a Guard as I live in a heavily populated deer area and some extra mounting points for driving lights also.
