Up grade to inline pump?

Greetings to all,

I now have a fresh intercooled 12valve in the Ramcharger and am toying with the idea of going to an inline pump instead of the rotary. Anybody done this? And can you tell me where the rocks are as far as the project is concerned? Got the complete changeover lined up, so cost isn't a factor.

Thanks to everybody for the support and the get-well cards when the Ramcharger was down.

hey man im looking to do the same swap. . i posted last week asking the same thing. . i know the gear housing has to be changed,the cam has to removed may be even changed if not its gear... , the lines, etc

where and how much did you get quoeted for the parts?...

Hey Rabbittree,

The deal I got was between $500-600 for pump brackets and injector lines. Maybe it's not a good project if all that other stuff has to be changed out too. I'm getting too old and cranky for long term projects unless they REALLY pay off.

Thaks for the info, it'll give me more research to do but maybe I can answer questions for all who consider the swap.

I believe the timing cover and gears all have to be changed. SNOKING
