My wife and I are planning a road trip in February driving from Washington state to Arizona to find some warmth.

My wife complains that the seats in our 06 2500 are uncomfortable after about an hour (Yes its true wives do complain from time to time)

Do any of you out there have any ideas on making the seats more comfortable.

I have sheepskin seat covers, they added more comfort for long trips, but still a little BUTT tiring.

So, I got some 2" thick memory foam, cut it to fit the seat bottoms and tops, tucked it in between the covers and the seat . . VERY COMFY NOW.

You can easily remove the stock seat covers and add the memory foam there as well. I believe someone posted a DIY on it here in the forums.

I just had the opportunity to drive my brother in-laws 2004 Kodiak with air suspension seats. These were very comfortable, leather covered and multi-adjustable. They came to AZ also for the sunshine, (too bad it's been raining all week). They said the trip out from Michigan was comfortable due to the seats.
