Hi Guys: Update on my rising oil level issues with my dealer.
Picked up my truck after being at the dealer for three days to investigate the increasing oil level issue.
Dealer now says it is normal for all 6. 7's to have an oil level that is about a half an inch onto the steel cable above the plastic on the dipstick. Dealer says every one he has looked at has an oil level like that and I shouldn't worry. He cannot explain why the dipstick has a specified oil level an inch below my level, but that it is just normal. Also says there must be some "unknown" reason why the level also increases over time.....
I'm not trying to make mountains out of mole hills, but I would imagine if there is a problem due to oil dilution, it will be on my nickel after the warranty is gone.
This is a 5 Star dealer in Wilsonville, OR - what should I do now? Who do you go after to get some help from Dodge? Dealer will not give me a number for a specific person to contact at Dodge - says to go the 1-800 route.....
