Got truck back today from Cummins Southwest and all is well. Looked at the cracked gear housing, a large chunk was broken out.
The piece that was was about 6" long, it was wedged in place untill the front cover was removed, the piece could come out.
They replace the dowel pin with a slightly over size one and lock tighted it in place. The pin is only a 23 cent item that caused $2000 repair.
The work done at CSW was out-standing and was completed on time.
Now it is tome to get on down the road.
