Well he got it back finally, after they sent a tech from Detroit, every time they replaced the alternator or ecu separate, they would blow the ecu. So finally they brought in another 2012 and pulled both the ecu and alternator off and put them on his , worked perfect, so they finally figured out that they had to replace both at the same time. Anyway they finally fixed it and his bill went down from 1616.00 to 749.00 , after 2 months in. the shop
