Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) update on truck

cummins nw just called and said that they think a broken negative teminal on my battery is stalling my truck. I took out the second battery because it is for high draw applications and would work well for winching purposes on my landcruiser. I notice while I was hotwiring the lift pump that the terminal was broken. Never thought that it could kill the truck.

Im off warranty it comes out of my pocket. I got a pump lined up for monday. I cant wait to get her back on the road but the twins are out for a while longer.
