Ordered my shocks and the Dual in-cab adjustment today #ad


Unfortunately... I once again forgot that my 1998. 5 is the same as a 1999... Hence no steering stabilizer for me #ad


BUT... The good news (maybe)... . after talking to Carl, if we provide him with both the min/max shock length extension. . as well as the bolt diameter of both ends fastening the stabilizer, they might be able to cross reference a stabilizer from a different application... Thus, a Steering Stabilizer WILL be available for our 1998. 5 to present trucks.

Does anyone know these spec's off the top of their head?? Hey I had to ask... Otherwise, I gotta measure it myself #ad


BTW: Carl indicated that the front shocks are on back-order from Rancho. Appearantly we cleaned them out... Not a big deal for me, but if you need them yesterday. . forget it!

<font color=blue>I have heard the RS5404 will work for a steering stabilizer. But I can not confirm it since I haven't gotten one yet. I'll try to pick on up in the next couple of days and see if it will work.

I'll try my local 4x4 shop tommorrow.

I called Rancho's tech support and they told me an RS5404 would work on my '98. 5 - talked to them yesterday.

Did you get any instructions in your in-cab control box? I have no instructions and thus no idea how the hell it goes together.

Thinking about just returning it.
