Ok, I know I haven't posted in a while, my appologies. Here is an update on the pig.

The third stock clutch went out last week, so I upgraded to a southbend clutch. Let me tell you... . I have not even put 200 miles on it yet, but this thing hooks up. No question about it.

I do have a question..... has anyone eles experience a little shutter starting out in second gear. This is an off and on experience, but it is noticable. I am thinking that it maybe a new clutch thing/break in period thing. Any comments?

If you are searching for answers to your clutch problem, I recommend this upgrade. It was 900 dollars, but I think, so far, it is going to be worth it!!!!

Thanks

Jake

Yep, the Con OFE is slightly grabbier on engagement than the stock clutch. That's the tradeoff to obtain its additional capacity. When spotting our 5th wheel, I bring the engine speed up to about 1000 RPM and slip the clutch to smooth it out - the OFE's disc likes higher relative speed between it and the flywheel/pressure plate surfaces than the stock clutch.

Yep, mine is grabby too. But I just bring the rpm's to about 1000-1200 just like rusty said and sometimes if I hit it just right it's almost non existant and you can feel it really pulling! It's awesome! Well worth it.
