It is obvious that adding the AMSOil remote bypass kit has helped extend my oil and oil changes. Please note the results. The little critters in the oil have decreased and good stuff that fights crime is still good. Looks like fuel content will have to be dealt with Monday at my dealer when it is in for a recall. They did not mention a filter change at this time. :-laf

Based on the report the fuel is 2. 5% after 4000 miles so the oil change light should come on sometime between 6-8000 miles. I'm not sure what you think the dealer is going to do to change it, because the fuel dilution appears to be average for a 6. 7. The best thing you can do to extend the oil life from a fuel dilution standpoint is increase the load on the engine so the regenerations are being run passively instead of active.

I really don't expect the dealer to do anything with the fuel in the oil. The 6k miles on the first oil check was all towing thru the Rockies grossing at 26,660 pounds. The truck has only been driven 4k since July 08. Most of that was towing. You can't run the engine any harder than that. I think I do have issues with the fuel milage and re-gens. They are going to look at that next week along with the recall.
