Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) upgrade input shaft

its time for a clutch and im wondering if upgrading the input shaft is worth the money. just want to hear what everyone thinks, should i do it or leave as it is. thanks

Unless you plan on going to a Dual Disk clutch and seld pulling then no, the larger input shaft isn't worth the cost. You can get a 13" SBC Clutch for your stock 5spd input shaft that will handle anything you can throw at it.



Now if you plan on sled pulling then you will DEFINATELY need the larger input shaft & and DD clutch.
