Turbo Back Pressure Relief System

AN fittings...how tight?

The Diesel Dynamics website allows you to configure the upgrades required to achieve a desired horsepower increase.

For 335hp, they suggest: stage 1 injectors ($800), guages ($320), and the boost module ($300)- total $1420.

For 350hp, TTPM ($549) and guages ($320) for a total of $869.

Is there another hidden cost factor in the 350hp scenario that I'm missing?

Nope, that's right. 335hp with Stage 1 injectors (50hp over stock). 350hp with the TTPM box (65hp over stock). Two different ways to achieve power gains.

Am I missing something here, how do you get 335 Hp out of a 50 HP injector. How do you get 350 HP out of a 60 Hp fueling box.

245 + 65 = 310

245 + 50 = 295

235 + 65 = 300

235 + 50 = 285

and all the above numbers would be BHP which is higher in numbers than RWHP.

The actual rear wheel HP would be much lower.

Please explain where I am going wrong.

Sometimes it's hard to say what each mod or combination of such will do to a truck until you finally put it on the dyno. I have an old 97 12v, which was "180HP" when delivered stock with an automatic. I put in the 215 injectors, and the "230HP" #8 TST kit, and later the gov. spring kit, (no HP increase, just revs further) and it dyno'd 300HP at the wheels, w/700 torque. That translates to approx 350-360 HP at the flywheel.

He's talking about the '03 HO truck w/6-speed. Ours dynoed 282hp at the wheels. Add 50hp, it around 335hp with Stage 1's and around 350hp with the TTPM box.

Sorry I wasn't clear, those are the dyno numbers for the HO 6 speed.

So, with the TTPM you get 15 extra ponies for $551 less than the injector and the boost module combination.

Sounds like an easy decision. Is there any reason to opt for the lesser hp set up?

James, no reason unless you want something totally stealth (can't tell a difference on the injectors other than power).

Sixpack, $800 for 1's, $950 for 2's and $1100 for 3's... all exchange. Get this, a new set from Dodge is $2600! Nothing like your '02.

KLock, I can understand the stealthy-ness of the injectors. But what about the boost module that is required with them? Is this a plug in box? Is it easier to conceal or remove as compared to the TTPM?
