I have a set of Boston Acoustic "Rallys" in my rear doors. I have had great luck with any BA speaker I've had so I won't buy anything else. I was also able to fit 6 1/2's in the hole without cutting or bulging. (The 5 1/4's are the standard)

They are inexpensive at around 80 bucks a pair.

Boston Rallys are very nice speakers. Although around here the Rally RX67 (6. 5") are quite a bit more than $80.

Quarts are also ver nice speakers.

I have heard and owned both of the speakers above. My suggestion would be to go to a few stereo shops and listen to a few different speakers. Everyones taste in music are a little different. Also keep in mind they may sound slightly different in your truck than the stereo shop.

Also how much money do you plan on spending. It is hard to make suggestions without knowing a $ figure to stick around.

Do you plan on running them off the head unit, or do you plan on running an amp? I assume you will be running them off a head unit.

Some of the speakers that I prefer to run of a head unit are the Boston Acoustics (both their FX and RX line), Infinity, and Polk Audio.

As I said, I think the Quarts are great speakers, but they are not as efficient as some others, and IMO are best run off an amplifier.

Good Luck :)
