I need new pads and I would like to get a whole new brake systems. I called the EGR and no real answer so far. Any feedback on EGR or where else to get a quality intregrated disc brake system that includes rear and front discs brakes for my '99. I would like to find a vender that is knowledgeable about these systems, as the more I get educated about these, the more I realize I better not get this stuff piecemeal if I want to be able to stop this increasingly powered up Cummins. Right now the brakes (stock ) are (I am finally realizing) completely inadequate. This truck is getting more and more exciting to run, but I gotta have brakes!!

I have the ERG set. New pads/shoes/rotors/lines/calibers. I like them. They are well balenced. I did have a caliber let go after 10K miles. It was promptly replaced.

If you just need pad and shoes, you might also want to look up Sam Peterson. You can compare the two and figure out which is best for you.

No matter what you do, I would suggest upgrading to the metal lines. They are take a lot of slop out of the brake pedal.
