I have a 1998 12V with a NV5600. The transmission was installed when I got the truck so I am not sure of what clutch is in it. The clutch holds well, no slipping. I am pretty sure the hydros are stock a stud pedal feels like any other 2nd gen I have owned. Would replacing the hydros to an upgraded set make the clutch feel more like a 3rd gen truck? Does anyone have first hand knowledge of doing the swap?

I didn't notice any difference in pedal feel between the stock hydros and the SB hydros I have now and I wouldn't expect any. IMO the difference is the clutch pedal spring rates.
