I recently updated my FASS with a new motor and pump. It holds 13/14 pounds just like my old one, much quieter.
I have a question. How do you start the truck correctly?
With my old unit I turned the key on and fuel pressure jumped up and stayed there; I would start the truck and away we would go. My understanding is that with the new one it only holds the pressure for . 5 seconds unless you bump the starter to get another 15 seconds.
I am sure with time I will get the hang of it but for now it is frustrating because it does not crank right up when I engage the starter. I have to bump the starter to get the encreased "pump running" time. What am I doing wrong? Or is this the new right way to do it?
Thanks,
Paul
