I recently upgraded all the banjo bolt fittings to custom machined 3/8" straight thru fittings with O ring seals. These new fittings accept standard 6MJ swivel 90's 45's straights whatever. Then I used 3/8" fuel line between the injection pump, fuel filter, lift pump, and the stock steel line from the tank. The fuel has very little restriction, basically a 3/8" open path the whole way (I didn't measure the exact size, about the same as the stock steel fuel line). I also installed a fitting between the filter and injection pump with an 1/8" NPT hole tapped in it for my pressure gauge. At the stock fuel line end I installed a compression fitting over the steel line and hooked the new 3/8" line to the other end. I used to see 0-1psi at WOT now it runs 7-8, 10-12 cruising and 13-14 at idle.
The guy who machined the custom standard/metric fittings said he would be willing to mass produce them. The local diesel shop I got the rest of the fittings from would be willing to supply them as well for a complete set. The machinist said he would like to do them in lots of 50, which is only 10 trucks. If any of you are interested, let me know and I can get the pricing for just the custom fittings or for the whole set.
