Anyone know of a good priced place to get this stuff?



It's DANGED expensive! The local store that handles that kinda stuff wanted $650 for what we needed for the travel trailer.

I am looking for it too PW, my seat in the truck is all broken down at less than 100K miles. Must have saved a whole 3 cents a piece to get the cheapest foam made, what a joke. Off the rant now, if I find a source that is cheaper I will let you know.

Maybe you can buy used matresses or couches at Goodwill and cut up the foam.

Boldt has the right idea. I've searched around before, even the cheap stuff is expendsive.

We used to have a place near here called the Whoopee Bowl. It was the place to go for foam, carpet padding and other stuff. It was a surplus supply place. Look in the yellowpages for Surplus and see if there is such a place near you. My Dad used to buy hard to find surplus stuff at a place called Silverstiens, in Detroit. I don't know if the place is still around, but it makes me think that every city probably has one.

Got my foam at Hobby Lobby for about $3 buck. Did the seat repair as described in the last magazine issue, and it works great.

Some of the carpet places should have enough scraps to glue together and make something. That high density stuff is nice for seats.
