uploading pictures

Why is it that when one responds to a regular thread you can click on the upload images button and it gives you the option to browse your computer for images to upload, BUT when you are responding to a private message all you get is an option to use "URL" and not browse for images????
What am I missing here???? Wasted 45 minutes of my life already!

Sorry, I did not see your request until total. The issue is a limitation of VBulletin, they do not include that feature. I can only suppose its because it would end up using a lot of disk space for a message that's only read by one person verses one posted for everyone to see. The VBulletin 4.x feature set was frozen some time back, so don't expect them to add it. Sorry, I wish I had better news.
