Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) upper console in 2002 HO with "CCd"?

Good morning all. I have a question for anyone that may have had this happen. Has anyone had their uppper console show the following. The screen will not have the temp, direction, mileage, eco or anything but will be showing "CCd" instead.

It has lost communication with the 'ccd bus', which connects all of the truck's electronics (overhead, dash, PCM, ECM, etc. ) It could be a bad electrical connection somewhere.

mine did that off and on for the first 8 months i owned it. it just quite one day..... don't know how or why, dut it did. Now it works flawlessly. (except for the mpg discrepency)

Off the top of my head I believe you need to go drive in circles 3 times (big parking lot) to re-establish communication. Check the factory service manual, it will tell you in there what is going on. I'm out of town right now and don't have access to mine.
