Has anyone had trouble with short upper heater hose leaking? I can't seem to get the clamps tight enough. Very hard to get at my age on 2006 5.9.

Has anyone had trouble with short upper heater hose leaking? I can't seem to get the clamps tight enough. Very hard to get at my age on 2006 5.9.

The clamps should be 5/8ths ID constant tension, If its a worm gear I would recommend replacing it back to an OEM clamp (because they leak and only tighten on one side by design). You can source them from parts yards on 3rd gen 1500s.
