Urgent Request for Assistance Transmission Failure

Need ideas for a local reliable transmission shop. Stranded in Pontiac Michigan, 500 miles from home, two hundred miles from Vacation address.. Replaced transmission lines in MD before this road trip. Transmission started slipping near Toledo, diagnosed with low fluid. Added fluid and made it to Pontiac, and a pre-arranged hotel for two nights.
2006 3500 Diesel Mega 4X4, 171,000 miles. We are on our way to Western Michigan for two weeks towing our toy car. Help please!

This is exactly why if I want to do any modifications or major repairs before a trip, I do it at least a couple of weeks before. That way you have some time to drive it and make sure everything's good before, instead of when you're hundreds of miles from home.

Truck is getting a robust rebuild with new Goerend converter and deep pan. It appears the transmission line to the heat exchanger(?) was overtightended, cracked, than opened up on I-80 …
Repairs should be completed this week.

Final (I hope!) update:
HTS transmissions in Lowell, MI are great. Found broken transmission mount as well as broken upper control arms. Everything repaired VERY professionally, squeezed me in to save the vacation and a 2 yr warranty to boot. feels like a new truck.
