Hey guys,

just doing some research and whatnot. :)

who out there has a 96-98 2500/3500 longbed 4x4 with a US Gear OD and an aftermarket midship replacement tank (Transfer Flow or Aerotanks). Looking at 50-60 gallon capacities.

would also like to hear from Gear Vendors owners in the same situation as above.

Basically seeing if a splitter OD and a replacement midship tank can be done together.

thanks

Jeff

Jeff- are you manual or auto? I've got the 2500 standard cab 5 spd. and learned about the tank issues with the US Gear. Went GV and have been okay with it. Wish I could split 2nd gear though. Am getting a Transfer-flow after axel 38g tank next month. Good luck!

Check out the USG website. If you have a standard cab you'll need to modify the stock fuel tank to make room for the OD. Extended cab and you're okay. Might ask the Transfer-flo folks about an extended cab WITH USG whether their replacment tank will fit. They see lots of combinations.
