Fuel pressure gauge (not mounted)

DiPricol 100 psi boost gauge

I had a real hard inadvertent shift. ( during split shift) Result a dead shift button and stuck in direct. Any ideas about it? It must be in the elcectric circuit or maybe the shift motor is shot. Or is the overdrive gear gone south. Thanks for any input.

I had a similiar problem and found the inline fuse holder wire tip came off. It sounds electrical as the US Gear default is low range.

Hey Bill, Thanks for the reply. Talked to a rep at US Gear and he thought it was electrical, also. I will be checking it and hopefully that is the problem. Gene

On my truck (96) it wouldn't shift one time. The fuse was corroded. I cleaned it up and it's worked great since. Don't know if that's your problem, but it's something to check.

A fu report. Itwas a smoked electric shift motor. 68,000 miles on it but I have to blame myself. Lately, I got into the bad habit of shifting while stopped--a no-no in bold print in the manual. Now, I know why. It lets the motor hunt excessively under stress and shortens the life of it. Live and Learn.
