Brought along a few things to do while taking a break. Going to install an AUX USB port and change the heater control bulbs to LED....found both items on Amazon. Got an extra USB port to install in the Can Am as well.

2nd set of burned out bulbs in 144,000 miles. Hoping the LEDs put a stop to that.

5V 3.1 amp output. 2 connections.

Now that I am using a real PC instead of my phone with the teeny tiny screen I'll add a little to this.

This USB port is for charging purposes only, not connected to a stereo or anything fancy like that. I just seem to run short on connection points for charging and operating devices when traveling lately so I thought that this was an easy solution. Simple hook-up, just a positive and negative connection.

It is designed to fit the same size opening as any other Carling switch in that style. That's what my other AUX switches are so it was a perfect fit.

Keep us posted on how the LED's work out. I've thought about it in the past, but have been worried that they will be too bright.

The ones that I used for the Heater control is not bad at all. Used the white which makes things look blue except for the red which remains as is.
I will grab a few shots tonight for you.

I have some more coming today for the instrument cluster, anxious to see how those come out.

A lot of mis-information about this upgrade on the good ole' internet.....going hands on and diving in.
