use smarty w/M.E. on 2 trucks for M.E. only???

Has anyone tried to use the smarty jr with M E to install the M E program only?

My son did the complete delete thing with his 2008 2500.

What I notice when he first connected the smarty jr w/me to the truck, it immediately updated it to M E. Then it started the procedure of "turn off press >" "turn on press >" to update the ECM. So if he "returns to stock" does it remove the M E ? and if not can I use it on another truck to update to M E only.

I guess my question is can it be used to just apply the M E program to several trucks?

the ME is part of the program, so the Smarty will be VIN locked to that truck. Reading and clearing codes can be done on other trucks while it is locked, but none of the programming features.
